The Our Blue Hands Project through the UNDP Cabe Verde Accelerator Lab inform the results of the implementation of microplastic monitoring on the Islands of Santiago and Boa Vista, Cape Verde Archipelago, between November 2021 and September 2022. The ten-month pilot project produced matrixes of drivers and the impact of marine litter in Cape Verde and pointed out potential impacts on related marine ecosystem services.
