OIM is a social and environmental impact film competition using the power of film to highlight one of the most urgent issues of our time, plastic waste pollution.
The Ocean in Motion Film Competition is open until the 19th October 2023 (film entry deadline) to all educational entities across Australia and New Zealand including primary, secondary and tertiary education. The Competition invites students to showcase a project that has been implemented, or one which they want to apply in their school to reduce and/or eliminate single use plastics. It has a wonderful prize pool of in-kind craft awards and is aligned with POA’s successful ‘Picnics Unwrapped’ campaign.
How it works
To participate in the 2023 OiM short film competition participants need to be a student from a primary, secondary or tertiary education institution or a member of the community in Australia and New Zealand.
