Le lezioni del MAREdì is a PCTO Project, formally recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education and endorsed as an official activity of the Ocean Decade.
This project led by marine biologist and scuba-diving trainer Martina Gaglioti is aimed at 67 high school students living in the first Biosphere Reserve of the history and is focused on marine and coastal ecosystems of the Mediterranean Sea. This educational project is conceived on marine sciences knowledge and ocean literacy principles in order to give the participants a multiperspective insight on all the relevant ocean-related disciplines and key topics. The students will be guided on a “salty journey” through lab and field sessions, playing serious games activities and engaging in theoretical sessions. The final goal for the school as a whole is achieving Blue School Certification.
