The programme brings multidisciplinary teams together in a cohort with research tracks to address societal and economic challenges that require convergence: the merging of ideas, approaches, and technologies from a wide and diverse range of expertise and sectors to stimulate innovation and discovery.

The Track E: Networked Blue Economy, aligned to the 2021 cohort, focuses on interconnecting the blue economy and accelerating convergent ocean research, innovation, and technology that is connected, open, and accessible and will enable long-lasting societal impact.
