Aquatic foods, in particular seafood, comprise important sources of micro- and macro- nutrients essential for ensuring healthy diets, particularly for young children. ClimeFOOD will directly contribute to more sustainable and climate-resilient food systems, to the UN SDGs, and to outcomes from both the UN Ocean Decade and the UN Decade of Action on Nutrition.
通过在一个连贯的开放性分析框架中嵌入整体的食品系统方法，ClimeFOOD将制定和实施在气候变化挑战下改善健康的途径。作为一个开放的合作伙伴网络，ClimeFOOD将在可持续的生态系统和可行的蓝色生物经济的基础上，解决渔业和水产养殖的最佳营养产量问题，同时特别关注最不发达国家的小规模参与者。
