Decade Implementing Partners
DIPs
Decade Implementing Partners (DIPs) are stakeholder institutions, networks or groups whose vision, mission or mandate align with the priorities of the Ocean Decade. Unlike Decade Collaborative Centres (DCCs) and Decade Coordination Offices (DCOs), DIPs sit outside the regional/thematic governance and coordination structure and provide targeted support to the Decade. The type of support each DIP provides depends on the individual organisation’s focus and resources, but can include:
- convening Ocean Decade partners,
- co-designing Decade Actions,
- communications and outreach,
- support to meetings and conferences.
For further information about DIPs, including our application process, read our operational guidelines.
We accept submissions on a rolling basis, so please contact us if you have questions or are interested in becoming a DIP.
