FREM-PAMS is the Asian Pacific regional environmental initiative aiming to improve knowledge and consolidate national efforts to restore and maintain the resilience of marine environment and enable sustainable exploitation of natural resources.

The overall objective of the FREM-PAMS is to support the Blue Growth and achievement of the UN SDGs in the region considering global challenges facing the planet by developing the science-based joint strategy to provide environmental decision-making and to meet ocean issues on a peacekeeping basis. The main goal of this effort is effective trans-national consolidation within marine research, education and management.
