地球の気候と生活環境の維持における南極大陸と南氷洋の役割は、専門家でない一般の人々にはまだ知られていない。極域は海洋と大気の相互作用や気候変動に強く影響している。
南極大陸と南氷洋に関するメディアの世界を広げることは、その重要性に対する認識と認識を呼び覚ますことを可能にし、南極のメンタリティと海洋文化の形成に貢献する。
このプロジェクトでは、バーチャル科学博物館と連動したトランスメディアシステムを導入し、さまざまな聴衆を巻き込み、科学リテラシーを拡大する。
バーチャル・ミュージアムは、3Dモデリング、さまざまな性質のバーチャル・オブジェクト（バーチャル・オブジェクト、アプリケーション、シミュレーションなど）、デジタル・トランスメディア（ポッドキャスト、ソーシャルメディア、書籍、遠隔学習コース、子ども向け大学など）を用いて開発され、さまざまなオーディエンスに科学的普及を図る。発表された資料やリソースの一部を以下にご紹介します。

Online courses
Antarctica in Education Course
A distance learning course with 60 class hours aimed at teachers and educators. It covers topics such as Antarctic history, wildlife, ice, and climate. Conducted via Moodle, it includes mandatory inaugural classes, classroom-applicable projects, and forum interactions. Participants who complete the course with evaluated projects will receive certification from UFABC.
3D Polar Museum
3D Polar Museum
The Polar 3D Museum is a digital and interactive space created to offer innovative resources for disseminating knowledge about the polar regions, offering detailed descriptions and scientific information about each species.
We also provide 3D printing models of organisms from an Antarctic food web with the aim of providing materials so that professionals in the field of education can prepare a dialogic and interactive class. These models help to visualize and better understand polar animals and plants, and encourage the use of emerging technologies such as 3D printing in the school environment.
