The National Science and Technology Institute on Biodiversity of the Blue Amazon – Brazil (INCT-BAA), in short “INCT Biodiversity of the Blue Amazon”, endorsed by the Ocean Decade, is a vast Brazilian Project that has established a broad national network of researchers with international collaborators from different fields of knowledge in the scope of converging to specific goals, including basic and applied research, training of human resources qualified in Marine Sciences and scientific dissemination and outreach.
