My name is Lorraine Barrow and am a Librarian at the Institute of Marine Affairs in Trinidad and Tobago sine 2012 and a member of the IOC Capacity Development (CD) Group since 2018. The Institute of Marine Affairs, a government-funded marine science reserach organisation in the southernmost tip of the english-speaking Caribbean , aims to conduct applied scientific research to conserve the marine and coastal environments of Trinidad and Tobago. My aim is to share or disseminate the reports arising out of the research conducted with as many members of the IOC as far as possible,
In my spare time, i enjoy outdoor activities - riding, walking, hiking, (beach cleanups) and also like to be creative - sewing and designing garments. I like reading and am in the process of conducting research for a book that i wish to publish.
