UNESCO invites qualified companies to submit tenders for the Mid-term Evaluation of the U.N. Ocean Decade, which will take place between 10월 2024 and 4월 2025.

External expertise is required in evaluating multistakeholder global programmes or initiatives, ocean science, as well as partnerships development and resource mobilization. A team of at least two core members, i.e. one team leader and/or a senior evaluator and a subject matter expert is recommended, but alternative and larger teams will also be considered.

UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC), as the agency tasked with coordinating the preparation of the Ocean Decade, is looking for a part-time consultant to support implementation of the Ocean Decade in relation to grants management for existing extrabudgetary sources and to secure new sources of funding in the future.

The consultant will work closely with the Ocean Decade team and staff within UNESCO-IOC to develop funding proposals for diverse types of sponsors and contribute to grant implementation in line with donor and UNESCO requirements.

This position is for 3 months of intermittent work over a 6-month period from 10월 2024 to 3월 2025.
