Pro Ocean helps to protect the ocean and to tackle marine pollution in a holistic way in the Philippines by creating fair jobs, launching education projects for pupils, and supporting innovative recycling projects.
To date, this holistic approach has enabled Pro Ocean to collect over 200 tons of ocean plastic from highly vulnerable ecosystems such as mangrove forests and beaches. Their environmental education project has reached over 2000 children so far, and in total, Pro Ocean has already created over 10 full-time jobs on the island of Negros.
