Aligned with the United Nations Ocean Decade, particularly the Ocean Decade Vision 2030 White Papers—Challenge 10: Restoring Society’s Relationship with the Ocean and informed by the Ocean Decade Manual for Non-Governmental Organizations,it presents research, case studies, and practical strategies that connect science with society and promote inclusive, sustainable action.
The series highlights the power of Ocean Literacy to transform understanding, engagement, and decision-making, empowering individuals, communities, and organizations across sectors to take informed and sustainable action worldwide.
Volume II and Volume III are expected to be released in May 2026.
