The Mini 30×30 Challenge is a global movement that empowers students to advocate for ocean protection, encouraging a stronger commitment of UN Member States to protect 30% of the ocean by 2030.
This initiative is the result of an international collaboration between various entities and aims to present a unified global youth message, from thousands of students from different countries, advocating for effective ocean protection.
Young changemakers from around the world will have the opportunity to learn, discuss, and take action on the need to implement Marine Protected Areas. Their collective voices will be reflected in an open letter to the United Nations, to be delivered at the 3rd UN Ocean Conference.
