In this workshop, participants will acquire rigorous skills in scientific and arts inquiry and expression, will pursue individual and collaborative interdisciplinary projects, and will emerge with a showcase work. Bring a project or idea to develop, or be inspired to start a new one.
This experiential workshop is co-facilitated by experienced educators and practitioners Dr. Marjorie Wonham (marine biology, University of Washington) and Dr. Astrida Neimanis (environmental arts, University of British Columbia). Participants are biologists, artists, and interdisciplinary practitioners and scholars; they are faculty, researchers, educators, and advanced students.
