The Third International Conference on Biodiversity, Ecology, and Conservation of Marine Ecosystems (BECoME-2025) serves as a pivotal platform for global and regional experts to share innovative ideas and successful case studies on marine conservation.
BECoME-2025 will also foster multidisciplinary and international research collaborations, support the Convention of Biological Diversity, inform policies on marine resources management and biodiversity conservation, and cultivate young scientists and environmental practitioners. The 2nd BECoME Conference, endorsed as UN Ocean Decade Activity, was successfully held in 2022 at City University of Hong Kong with over 340 participants from 33 countries, featuring 184 presentations. Built upon this success, the proposed BECoME-2025 will take place in 18-22 August 2025 when we will also hold a workshop for the Global Estuaries Monitoring (GEM) Programme, an UN-endorsed Ocean Decade initiative, and launch its second phase of research endeavours.
Participants wishing to present papers should submit their abstracts through the online form by 28 April 2025 (Hong Kong Time). Authors are requested to indicate their preference for either oral presentation or poster display during the submission process. Find more information here.
