Image-Based Biodiversity Monitoring Workshop

This workshop aims to train Park Rangers of National Marine Parks of the Argentinean Patagonia in biodiversity monitoring techniques for rocky shores using imagery processed with Artificial Intelligence for the classification of benthic species. This activity will promote the development of a network of park rangers and scientists dedicated to detecting long-term trends in the biodiversity of the rocky intertidal, and contributing data and knowledge to managers and decision makers as part of the Marine Biodiversity Observation Network Pole to Pole of the Americas (MBON Pole to Pole).
