The African Youth Forum on the Blue Economy (FOJAEB) is an initiative of the African Youth Organization for the Blue Economy ( OPJEB) which is part of the dynamic of promoting the participation of African youth in the emergence of the Sustainable Blue Economy in Africa.
The objective of the FOJAEB is to raise awareness among African youth on the continent’s potential in the blue economy, the different maritime and coastal professions in order to increase investments for sustainable blue growth, to bring out a strong motivation among young people towards the blue economy in order to reduce despair, brain drain, illegal immigration by promoting the creation of added value and decent jobs for the development of African youth and the renaissance of Africa.
