“Get to Know CIM on the Street” and “Embark with CIM” is a public outreach event organized by the Marine Research Center (CIM) of the University of Vigo.
The activity aims to engage the local community by bringing marine science closer through interactive displays, educational workshops, live demonstrations, boat tours, guided visits to CIM laboratories, and direct interaction with researchers.
The event supports the Ocean Decade’s goals by raising awareness about ocean conservation and showcasing CIM’s research on marine biodiversity, pollution, and sustainable aquaculture
