Euro-BioImaging is excited to announce the organisation of a series of two workshop sessions on December 2nd and 4th, 2024, focused on underwater imaging, Bio-Optics, and Participatory technologies developed within the ANERIS project (GA :101094924).
Experts from Euro-Bioimaging, the University of Haifa, France Bioimaging, and members of the ANERIS consortium will lead participants through sessions exploring the various technologies and tools developed within the ANERIS project.
The ANERIS project is an EU-Funded project that aims to tackle the rapid loss of ocean biodiversity by developing innovative tools and technology for monitoring, research and management of marine life, and introducing the concept of Operational Marine Biology (OMB). OMB is a biodiversity information system which allows long-term routine measurements of ocean and coastal ecosystems and their quick interpretation and dissemination to all relevant stakeholders.
AQUARIUS-RI Project coordinator Aodhán F. from Marine Institute will join us to introduce the Aquarius project and the interesting Access Funding opportunity for marine and freshwater researchers.
This workshop is open not only to consortium partners but also to external participants, including researchers, technology developers, users, citizens, and stakeholders from the broader scientific and technical community. Attendees will have the opportunity to not just learn about the ANERIS Project’s technology advancements but also to actively contribute to their further development. The workshop will also bring together specialists in underwater imaging and general image analysis and processing to learn about these advancements, offer feedback for validating methods and technologies, and aid in disseminating project developments to the broader community.
