This project aims to promote ocean literacy among the coastal communities of Bangladesh, focusing on enhancing their understanding of the ocean’s vital role in environmental, economic, and social well-being.
The goal is to equip these communities with the knowledge and tools to engage in sustainable marine resource management, while fostering a deeper, more emotional connection to the ocean. By integrating traditional knowledge with scientific approaches, this project will build a strong foundation for ocean conservation and sustainable practices in the Bay of Bengal.
