This action will survey stakeholders in government, academia, and industry on their current needs and existing level of expertise related to acoustics in maritime environments.

It will survey and document existing training and education opportunities in ocean acoustics. It will identify gaps in expertise and training opportunities based on need and make recommendations for developing capabilities to meet stakeholder needs, including sustainable development goals.
