RIVIERADE improves modelling methods to deliver validated climate services for resilient European seas and coasts over decadal to multi-decadal horizons.
It brings together CORDEX and Copernicus Marine Service expertise to implement a pre-operational multi-model framework for producing, downscaling and assessing high-resolution climate predictions and projections.
The project will generate harmonized multi-model datasets and demonstrate climate services in the Baltic, Black and Mediterranean Seas at basin, regional and local scales.
Stakeholder co-design ensures usability, addressing ocean health, sustainable blue economy and coastal risk.
RIVIERADE directly contributes to CoastPredict priorities and the Ocean Decade vision.
